Wish I could brag about a my personal results but unfortunately I suffered like a three legged dog in an ass kicking contest in every race I entered. So I think I'll talk about other people.

I saw Megan recover from a fairly disappointing road race where she dnf'd, only to start the criterium the next day with more enthusiasm than ever. Not only did she finish well up in the final field sprint, she pulled off a win during one of the prime laps, good on ya Megan.

Peter really impressed me, he was the totally selfless teammate all weekend. He raced the A's TTT even though I know he would have preferred not to, later he rode so hard in the A's road race that he had violent leg cramps on the last lap that jerked him off the road. Even with that, he still managed to roll in right after the pack finished. The next day I saw him block during the criterium while Ferguson and Cody Dean were killing themselves in a break with a dozen or so other guys, he looked almost bored and could have probably brought the break back himself had he wanted to, totally pro.

Cody Dean admitted while driving home Sunday he was real nervous before racing in the A's road race on Saturday since he hadn't really raced on the road before. That nervousness proved to be unwarranted because he rocked it all weekend and got a couple primes in the crit to boot. I'm sure he'll uncork a big win before the season is over.

After she missed her start in the TTT and consequently the race, Marian tore the legs off 99.9% of the women's A field in the rest of her races to make up for it, even lapping the field with a girl from Cal in the criterium. Wait 'till she starts actually training, those girls will be really hurtin' for certain.

Ferguson raced like he always does. What can I say, the guy just brings it. Every time, no matter what the race, conditions, or who the competition is, he just doesn't seem to care. When he rolls up to a start line you can expect him to make a difference in the race and this last weekend was no different.

For everyone else: Taylor, young James the ripper, Monte, Cody, Andy or is it Andie, the triathlete bro's, and Boston Cody. Good work and thanks for showing up, you all rode strong.

Not bad for a bunch of mountain men and women racing in the flats. Hopefully this weather will let up a bit and we can get in some good training.
